Early Friday morning actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish found herself in legal trouble once again as she was arrested for DUI in Beverly Hills.

Haddish, known for her comedic talents on the big screen, was taken into custody around 5:45 a.m. following reports of her car obstructing lanes on Beverly Drive.

Beverly Hills Police confirmed the incident, stating that Haddish was held in jail and facing DUI charges.

Haddish reportedly fell asleep at the wheel

Local authorities responded to a call about a vehicle halted in the middle of Beverly Drive with the engine still running.

Haddish, best known for her roles in "Girls Trip," "Night School," and "Haunted Mansion," is expected to be released later today, as confirmed by sources.

Haddish had been actively involved in charitable endeavors, performing at The Laugh Factory's Thanksgiving dinner for those in need the night before her arrest.

The actress was also scheduled for performances at The Laugh Factory on Friday and Saturday nights.

Arrest is second DUI for Haddish

This incident adds to Haddish's legal woes, with a prior DUI arrest in Georgia in January 2022.

The earlier arrest involved allegations of improper stopping on a roadway after Haddish was found allegedly asleep behind the wheel on Highway 74.

Authorities responded to a 911 call around 2:30 a.m., leading to her arrest for Driving Under the Influence.

Haddish is slated to go to trial over the previous DUI charge on December 4.

During her legal battles, Haddish maintained a sense of humor about her situation.

In April 2022, while hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she joked about her DUI charge, saying, "Yes, I did get charged with a DUI, which stands for Dumb Unfortunate Incidents."

Displaying her mugshot, she added, "Still cute! Still cute. Looking good. I'm gonna go ahead and turn that into an NFT."

Haddish's recent arrest in Beverly Hills once again raises concerns about the actress's legal struggles and the potential consequences she may face.
