Paris Hilton surprised the world by revealing on Thursday that she became a mother for the second time. The heiress, known for her presence in the fashion and entertainment world, shared the news with her followers via social media.
It marked an emotional moment for the 42-year-old businesswoman and her husband, Carter Reum, who welcomed their first child, Phoenix, in January via surrogacy. Now they are celebrating the arrival of their second daughter, whom they have named 'London'.
Hilton shared the news by posting a photo of a pink newborn outfit, revealing both the gender and name of her baby girl and in her excitement. Hilton expressed her gratitude for the arrival of her baby girl in the midst of the Thanksgiving holidays and did so with a blunt message to avoid any confusion: "the princess has arrived".
The announcement generated numerous congratulations and expressions of affection from family, fans and friends, who share Hilton and Reum's joy in the expansion of their family.
"I would love for him to have a baby sister and name her London," Hilton said in March, when asked what she would name a daughter. "Because London is my favorite city. In fact, I had chosen that name for a long time, probably more than 10 years ago."
Fans worried about Paris' first child
Paris' fans have yet to meet London, but in recent days they have been concerned about Phoenix, who may be suffering from a serious condition: macrocephaly.
Macrocephaly is a condition in which the size of the head is significantly larger than normal. Suspicions arose after she posted several pictures on Instagram with her son, although the socialite herself said that everything was fine with the little one. However, it is not thought to be serious if it is inherited.
